Flower Power! These flowers in my yard helped
me....
Get in my first run in 14 days! Finally, some free time, cooperating weather, and an empty trail...
Equals a smiling face after 3 miles, an untied shoe, and a side cramp. But it's the start back again for me, so I am happy today. A sweaty beginning but one I am anxious to continue.
Aww, so glad you got in a run that made you happy! And the flowers...gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteOh your lilies are gorgeous and I love that big wonderful grin on your face!
ReplyDeleteYes, I look so lovely with my red face. I swear, I just cannot sweat pretty like a girl.
ReplyDeleteI missed part of the lilies blooming, dang it! Some are already pooping out.
Hello my friend! Back from our trip south and I've just been catching up with your last few posts... Sorry about all that your mom's been through, but it sounds like she's well on the road to recovery, so that must be a relief. You sure have had a ton on your plate, girl! (What a sweetie Bud is, staying at the hospital like that)
ReplyDeleteI know you may not feel like it, but I think with all that's been going on in your life, you're doing amazingly well with your summer plan. Even getting a run here and there in at all, is proof of your dedication to your goals and I think that's awesome!
Those stuffed tomatoes sound incredible! I'll definitely have to check that one out! We're big fans of that whole "greek" flavor profile around here. (You'll see that in my Friday recipe this week!)
Glad you had a nice time at the wedding and Brava! for getting back on track this week!
XOXO,
~Mrs B
Oooooh, those are gorgeous flowers!!!! I literally cannot see enough pics of flowers. And what an adorable pic of you!!! You look so happy!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs. B and Frisky! I ran again today, but I think I was still sleeping when I did it, cause there was not gas in this engine--but it was a beautiful morning and I was glad to be outside.
ReplyDeleteI am patiently waiting for some of my other flowers to pop out--seeds take so darn long :)
